Hi-Tea At The G Hotel, Penang
Every year mum would be a vegetarian during her birthday. She will be a vege for two months starting from December till Thaipusam. Since her birthday falls during that period of time, it would be very diificult for us to take her out for dinner. So we decided to give her treat at the G Hotel way before her birthday or to be more precise before she started being a vegetarian. The food was absolutely nice. A lot of varities. She, being a picky eater enjoyed herself that day. Too bad, none of our other halves joined us. Suresh had a meeting, Guna and Leena were in KL. My dad didnt want to join. So, it was simply the Kanapati's gathering minus my dad.
Bubble Time
Holidays in Penang is not complete without a visit to Gurney Drive. The children simply love the place coz they can have a bubble of time there. For them Gurney Drive is all about playing bubbles by the sea side. For their sake, we will make it a point to visit the place whenever we go there. A nice place to go for a stroll at night. A happening place coz there's a hotel and a shopping mall opposite of this place and we can see people from all walk of life there. Food....they have everything that Malaysians crave for. We will be spoilt for choice. The food here is a bit pricey and you get too little for the price you pay for. Food wise it has lost its charm. The sea too is dirty and full of rubbish. Nevertheless, it is still the best place to go to unwind ourselves.
Sumi came for a meeting in KL so we stayed with her in the Boulevard Hotel. Very-very convenient to go shopping in Mid Valley since the hotel is just adjacent to the mall.
An Evening At Feringghi Beach
The beach was so smelly and filthy. Rubbish could be seen everywhere. What disgusted us was, people were bringing dogs for an evening walk at the beach. The dogs were pissing and pooing everywhere. Malaysians' mentality..........
