Mum's Birthday

I know its going to be a month since we celebrated her birthday. I have had no time to update the blog since the school reopened. So, I am slowly updating it now. Her birthday is just 2 days after Christmas. A day before her birthday we told her there will be no cooking and the kitchen would be closed for a day but she managed to make breakfast for us in the morning. That's mum who will never stay unoccupied. We took her for lunch at the Thai restaurant in Bukit Jambul Golf Club. Of course she couldn't eat much as she was a vegetarian. She had some vege stuff and mango pulut. The mango pulut was really good. The pulut was creamy and nice. The food there was fantastic especially the tom yam. Thumbs up for the restaurant.

Coffee @ Starbucks.....d kids favourite hangout.......
Later in the evening, we took the girls to Starbucks. They love the place so much. If we ask them where they would like to go, they will say "want to go to Starbucks". The place is windy and it is facing the sea so the view is nice. But I don't think that's the reason they like to go there. It is because of the LOLLIPOPS and the berry juice.
Happy Birthday To You.......
Sumi managed to get her a vegetarian cake. Apparently King's Bakery sells vegetarian cakes. One need to order a few days prior t0 the event. The cake tasted just like the normal cake......very tasty. We had the celebration at the pool side in Sumi's condo. Dad didn't turn up as he was busy watching EPL in the mamak shop. He has got a big gang who likes to watch with him......they are none other than the USM students. He doesn't miss a match. Such an ardent fan he is. No need to read the newspaper to get the latest results of EPL. He knows everything. Football is everything for him nowadays. Anyway, Happy Birthday to you amma! We love you very-very much.

At the end of the holidays, I have managed to gain a lot of weight. Thanks to all the fattening food I had in Penang......a food paradise. Penang is a real haven when it comes to food. My colleague Zt has been calling me to go to Fitness First with her. Mmmmm......Seriously thinking about it.........
