Ramesh's Wedding

Boy as he is fondly known tied his nuptial knot with his sweetheart, Ananthi last December. The wedding was held early in the morning, at 5 a.m in the temple. This is the latest trend in the Hindu community to get married at wee hours . It was tiring but the atmosphere was very nice at that hour in the morning. The reception was held the next day and the bride's side reception was held the following Saturday. A wedding marathon, I would say! All the best to them!

PRE WEDDDING / WEDDING

The wedding kicked off with this ceremony..... the planting of this particular branch of tree. Can't remember the name of the tree. So much of importance is given to this branch. It is a symbolic way of saying, one need to have a good and strong scaffolding in order to lead a good marital life.

The groom looking damn good in the Indian facial......the sandalwood paste. Apparently, it has got a lot of medicinal values. One of them is, it reduces the sunburn on the face and gives a glow to the complexion

Flashback.... Memories of 2002. This is the exact place we got married 7 years ago. I am in my wedding saree but he chose not to wear his traditional outfit. If not, it would have been an accomplished mission since the wedding was just 3 days after our wedding anniversary.
